Wolf Team is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter (MMOFPS) game from Aeria Games and Softnyx. It’s a typical representative of the genre that offers fast-paced action and a unique transformation system where players can turn into Werewolves with tremendous melee powers.

Do not expect a character creation or customization process; in Wolf Team, the only way to make your hero look exclusive is through the various outfits you can purchase from the in-game store. There is a huge variety of gear available and a big collection of weapons, all with unique characteristics, appearance and sounds.

Combat is what one would expect and revolves around fast sessions of intense action and, depending on the given map or game mode, a lot of strategic thinking; personal skill is important but it must be accompanied with understanding of the battlefield and cooperation. And that’s where the transformation mechanic comes in and changes everything; hitting the “3” key will transform you into a powerful beast with increased life points (that diminish over time), mobility and ridiculously high strength. Wolves excel in melee combat where they can tear an enemy to pieces and disappear using their lightning-fast moves and acrobatics. Knowing when and where to transform is essential since it’s a process that takes a certain amount of time during which you are completely open to attacks.

Wolf Team offers seven different game modes (Deathmatch, Destruction, Conquest among others) and 15 maps of varying environments and sizes. It also features detailed 3D graphics that look a little old but not outdated and rather nice character and weapon models. The in-game shop is full of goodies to spend your hard-earned Wolf Points (awarded after every match in accordance with your performance); whether it’s a new backpack, a Kevlar armor plate or a new assault weapon, there is something for everyone!

Wolf Team is a great game that offers everything expected from and FPS title and a little bit more; its transformation mechanic is a welcome innovation and adds elements of strategy to the gameplay, plus it’s extremely fun to play! This a gaming experience that every true fan must have!

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
