Tribal Wars is a free-to-play, browser based, Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game from InnoGames. In a medieval setting, players strive to transform their villages into cities and eventually become the ultimate ruler.

The small tutorial takes you to your village screen where everything happens. After you have mastered the very basics, you can start the game in earnest. In the first few days, you are completely protected against enemy attacks so you can use this time to upgrade your settlement. Construct all the necessary buildings, gather resources and raise an army. Tribal Wars is all about expansion, so you must be aggressive in order to conquer as many villages as possible, but in the same time careful; there is always someone who wants to attack your city! A good way to protect yourself is joining a Tribe (hence the name of the game) where you can team up and fight stronger opponents, or ask for help defending your home.

The game features simple 2D graphics and a small variety of building models. Compared to modern representatives of the genre, it has little new to offer, however, the in-game community is big and very dedicated. Tribal Wars is not a game for casual players, you will soon find out that your opponents take their job very seriously!

Tribal Wars is a simple strategy MMO which can become very addictive should you choose to start playing it. It’s easy to learn and has a large and dedicated in-game community. Why don’t you give it a try?

Good

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
