Talisman Online is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from Mira Game. It features an intriguing story of Good and Evil, quests, endless monster-slaying and a very interesting skill and weapon system.

There are five playable classes in the game, each with a unique set of skills and abilities that offer different gamesyle; note that each time heroes gain a level, points are allocated to their stats automatically depending on their class. And here is where the Talisman System enters; every hero has three Talisman slots, one is meant to be used as a weapon and the other two add extra bonuses. Skills can be bound to your weapon and as you continue using it you gain energy to upgrade them both. Weapons cannot be of a higher level than your character and have a maximum level they can be upgraded to. After that point, you can obtain a new one and merge it with your old one to further upgrade its stats!

Combat is what one would expect from a title of the genre with simultaneous use of mouse and keyboard; animation and visual effects are very good and they make battle much more exciting. The game features a wide world to explore and a rather big questline that will keep you occupied. There are no instances but you will come across world bosses that offer handsome rewards. There are also pets that can be trained to follow you in battle and boost your abilities and mounts that greatly reduce your travel time.

Talisman Online is in many ways a traditional MMORPG offering what is expected from a representative of the genre but in the same time manages to stand out thanks to the very interesting Talisman system. If you consider yourself a fan of the genre you should really give it a try!

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
