Soulworker is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) developed by Lion Games and published by Smilegate. It features an interesting story, exciting action-based combat and beautiful graphics.

Your goal is to save the world from the evil forces that want to destroy it. It may sound pretty ordinary, but as the story unfolds you will come across many twists and turns that will most certainly surprise you. Your weapon of choice is called Soul Worker, is huge, comes in many different shapes and it defines your class and abilities. As you slay monsters or powerful bosses you collect their souls; when your soul bar is full you may unleash a Zenith attack, a devastating and flashy move that will obliterate your opponents!

Soulworker features cell-shaded 3D graphics with an anime-inspired artwork and beautiful visual and sound effects. Environments are highly detailed and they look bursting with life. Combat is the most noteworthy aspect of the game. It revolves around timely combining keys in order to create powerful combos and destroy your opponents. There is no auto-aim so you will have to do it manually and you must always be on the lookout for your opponent’s next move; constant movement is the key.

Another interesting feature is a collectable card system. When you complete a mission or you kill a monster, you may be rewarded with special fragments that can be combined to create cards that may boost your combat abilities or help your whole team. The card system replaces the need for taming and training a pet and together with the meticulous crafting system adds to the game’s diversity.

Soulworker is a very interesting game bringing some new ideas to the genre. Its exciting combat system, the beautiful anime artwork and the original card system really stand out. If you consider yourself a true fan of MMORPGs, then you should really give it a try!

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
