Silkroad Online is a free to play 3D MMORPG, by Joymax. The road of silk, established during 2 B.C. after Janggeon’s explorations outside of India following his Chinese emperor’s commands, created a trade road from which the Chinese silk started flowing in Europe. Among the great commercial opportunities that started to arise of this new path, there is also evident dangers of thieves and outlaws that threaten travelers.

That is until you arrive. A vast world full of adventure, connecting multiple legendary cultures and civilizations is waiting to be explored, putting players in the center of this major cultural trading gateway where the roads between Asia and Europe intersect. You will be free to choose your path and fate within a completely open game environment, changing between merchant, hunter and thief roles. Merchants have the goal to engage in successful trades, earning the highest possible earnings for their offerings. Thieves, have a preference for outlaw action, meaning that their main interest is to try and steal products or money from the wandering travelers. Hunters act as guardians for the trading community and their objective is to hunt down the outlaws, protect traders and propel peace.

You will experience a unique episode centered quest system and a guild based community that will invite you and your friends to form guilds, roam the lands together, trade or craft items or explore the mystical properties of Alchemy. Depending on your selected character, you will be acquainted to a unique skill and battle system where special abilities and attacks can be learned and used upon your opponents. Experience points gained can be used to learn new skills, develop the already learned ones or increase your stats. You will also have the chance to acquire pets that can assist you in-game and fight by your side. A free PVP system is available where you will choose your team of preference, based on the team’s strengths and weaknesses and duel with other players online.

The presentation and artistic style of Silkroad is of very high standards, featuring highly detailed graphics, realistic environmental effects and fluid, natural animations. All in all, Silkroad is a well-designed and presented game, showcasing great MMO mechanics an interesting storyline and many functional elements to raise your interest and keep you addicted.
