Seal Online is the free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from JC Planet and Grigon Entertainment. It features a solid background story full of good and evil gods and the fantasy land of Shiltz that calls out for a brave hero to restore peace and order.

There are very few choices available in terms of customization; on the other hand, there are playable classes, one of them being the Beginner which you can pick if you opt to play the extensive tutorial and then drop at level 10 for one of the others left. Each class has distinct abilities and skills and is better suited to one role, namely tank, damage dealer and healer. At level 150 players can further evolve their chosen class by choosing from two specializations.

The quest-driven story will have you explore the colorful world of Shiltz, visit numerous locations and slay hordes of funny-looking monsters; note that the level cap is over 250 so you can understand that reaching end game will take time! What is more, you will find a large variety of pets to train and use as companions and they will in return give your abilities a considerable boost. There is a fame system that determines which pet you can train and what gear you can use and a couples system that allows for you to have an online partner with whom you can share rewards and loot!

The game features 3D graphics with that special cartoonish artwork and colorful surroundings that give out a relaxing feeling. Combat is typical of the genre but it also implements performing of series of combos in order to deliver maximum damage. At later stages, you will find out that grouping with other players is absolutely essential in order to take down bigger and more challenging monsters or clear dungeons. Joining a Guild is also a good idea that will make your life easier and will allow you to participate in intense PVP battles for great rewards.

Seal Online is a rather old game but it’s one that every fan of the genre should give a try; compared to modern titles, it may not look very polished but it’s fun and exciting!

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
