ROSE Online is a 3D fantasy MMORPG developed and published by Gravity Interactive in 2005. Even though this game is an old one, and the hardships of time are obvious on both its graphics and its gameplay, ROSE Online still manages to be one beautiful and well-made MMORPG.

In this game you start as a visitor, a plain human who is on the way of evolving and mastering himself. On level 10 you can choose on whether you want to be a Dealer, a Hawker, a Muse or a Soldiers. The last part of your character’s evolving is at level 100 where you get 2 more job advancements. As in most MMORPG, each time you level up you get some points to add up to your statistics and some skill points. This lets you create your own unique build and play exactly the way you want. Good thing is, the cap level is currently at 230 level so it can keep you around for a long time.

After beating a few level though you’ll realise that the experience is getting lower and lower until you reach the next one. The grind factor in ROSE Online is a huge parameter and it’s the main reason most players decide to stop playing it altogether. If you are a grinding lover then, you’ll simply love this one.

Getting around in ROSE Online is one of its most beneficial features. You can use carts, mounts and flying objects to get around, making your gametime even more interesting.

ROSE Online rewards you if you are playing with friends or just creating a party with generous bonus exp which is essential to getting through the first 100 levels quickly. You should take advantage of this feature cause otherwise you will get bored easily.

PvP is not non-existent in this game but undeniably it is not its main purpose. While there are arenas, territorial raids and so on, the game focuses on its PvE gameplay so if you are a competitive player then you won’t have a good time.

All in all, ROSE Online is a fairly good MMORPG if you are a PvE grinder. With many cosmetic changes and cool transportation options, this game is thepalace of every casual MMORPG player. If you are a hardcore one though, you better stay away cause it won’t manage to keep you around for long.
