Ragnarok Journey is a free-to-play, browser based, Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from Gravity Interactive. It is actually a remake of the original Ragnarok Online title with a lot of old and loved elements, plus a few new features and polished graphics.

There is a good selection of playable classes, each with unique skills and abilities; there is a huge storyline with hundreds of main and secondary quests to keep you occupied as you try to create the hero of your dreams. Fans of the original Ragnarok game will find many similarities like the monsters and the skill and class progression system but they will also notice some new and noteworthy changes.

Firstly, aesthetically, the game is on a par with the majority of modern titles with detailed 2D graphics, colorful and bright environments and beautiful effects. The second difference and probably an unpleasant one, is the auto-pathing and auto-playing system; the first one allows for your hero to easily find quest givers and complete the given tasks while the second one gives you the opportunity to sit back and watch your heroes levelling up on their own without your participation!

All the aforementioned characteristics make Ragnarok Journey a very easy game, one that mostly aims to the casual gamers and to the fans of the original title; there are weekly events that try to add some diversity but the low difficulty level is a deal breaker. If you are a true fan of the original and you don’t care about the difficulty factor, you should give this game a try.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
