Naruto Online is a free-to-play browser based, Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from Bandai Namco and Oasis Games. It is greatly based on the Naruto anime series and offers the opportunity to play alongside some of its iconic heroes.

There are five different characters to choose from, each one related to one of the five elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Lightning. The starting point of your adventure is the town of Kohana (also known as the Hidden Leaf Village) and there you meet for the first time Naruto and his friends. The storyline comes directly out of the first two seasons of the animated series, so if you are a fan it will be easy to follow; if you are not, no worries, the game guides you through everything that needs to be done.

Naruto Online’s key feature is combat. You have to create a team of up to four heroes and make sure that they work well together. That’s the only way for you to fully exploit their powers and perform combo hits for massive damage. That also requires some strategic positioning prior to any battle. Once you do that, the battle commences and is fully automated; you just watch it happen and wait for the result.

The game displays nice 2D environments with character models straight out of the Naruto comic and a nice soundtrack with music themes taken from the show. Although Naruto Online seems like a game addressing only hardcore Naruto fans, it has elements that will equally please and entertain any RPG fan.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
