MechQuest is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game from Artix Entertainment. In a futuristic world, you are a pilot of a mech, a gigantic battle robot; together you must fight against the evil Shadowscythe Empire and save your world from destruction.

This is a flash player game, so you shouldn’t expect anything fancy. However, the 2D graphics are colorful, fun to watch and with a certain anime style. You start the game with a simple mech and as the story unfolds, new machines become available together with new upgrades for the existing ones. There are endless possibilities when it comes to customizing your mech; you can change arms, head, torso, add certain prosthetics that maximize firepower or your shields and paint any part with the color of your choosing.

With a story line full of missions, plethora of secondary quests to follow and with the developers adding new content regularly, it is almost impossible to run out of things to do in MechQuest! Combat is turn-based and very easy to master. Your abilities have different cooldowns so each turn you should carefully think about which to use. Every battle or quest rewards you with experience and credits (the game’s currency) which can be used to upgrade your mech.

MecQuest is a casual, fun game with an interesting story line, an easy to master combat system and a huge and dedicated player community. Should you give it a try, you are up for a highly entertaining experience.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
