Fate Grand Order, offers an addictive blend of monster summoning features and turn-base combat. Players call forth servants to do their bidding and use cards to activate their abilities.

Battles consist of two phases, the Tactical phase where you, the Master, strategize your move, picking your servants’ skills (servant cards) and your support spells (Master cards), and the Command phase, where both allied and enemy teams operate according to given commands. Skills can be learned from leveling your monsters or deepening their bond with the Master.

Combat starts with you drawing your first five cards from a premade fifteen card deck. You can only choose three cards and if you manage to pick three different cards of the same servant you get bonus attack and critical stats. You can also use special cards that result in servants getting more attack power or getting healed etc.

Of course there’s a limited amount of stamina available for each day that replenishes by 1 every 10 minutes but spending money makes the progress faster.

Overall Fate Grand Order is a fun game with a variety of interesting mechanics and awesome looking servants, definitely a game to check out if you are a fan of the genre.
