Innogames is the producer and publisher of Elvenar, a free-to-play, Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) strategy game you can play from your browser. In a fantasy world, you start as the ruler of a small village and must work hard to create an empire.

In the beginning, you must choose a side; will you be a Human or an Elf? The only difference between the two factions is the aesthetics of the various buildings and army units with the Elves looking more mystical and the Humans more medieval and industrial. There is a small tutorial to teach you the very basics and after that you are free to work on your city. As in most games of the genre you are required to raise the necessary structures to produce the resources needed before you start exploring the world. Exploration is a key element in Elvenar; the world is a vast place and every neighboring province offers new resources to you, once conquered. To do so, you can either fight or negotiate.

Combat is turn-based and looks good with nicely detailed models for the various units and good visual effects. You have full control of your armies and you decide when, how and in what numbers you will use them. You can create alliances and trade with other players but you can’t fight them; the game doesn’t have a Player versus Player (PVP) mode!

Elvenar is a casual strategy game that offers beautiful graphics, a huge world to explore and lots of turn based battles for you to fight. It doesn’t innovate but will surely entertain you immensely.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
