Dragons of Atlantis is a free-to-play, browser based, Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy (MMORTS) game, produced and published by Kabam. It takes place in the mythical realm of Atlantis, where four tribes fight each other for survival just before the end of their world.

The game features nice, 2D graphics and a soundtrack that is easy to listen to. You start in your small town that only has a keep and from then on, with the help of the tutorial, you learn how to build advanced buildings to gather resources or research technology. When you have enough resources stored and you have knowledge of the necessary technology, you can start building an army. Armies can be used for protection or for conquering neighboring kingdoms. You can also form alliances and work together with other players towards the common goal of victory. Dragons of Atlantis would be just another typical game of the genre, had it not been for Dragons. Yes, in your keep you can raise a mighty beast that can defend your city or attack your enemies! From a small hatchling, you can see it grow to a winged terror, your most powerful ally.

In conclusion, Dragons of Atlantis is a typical Real Time Strategy (RTS) game, with familiar mechanics, nice looking graphics, an active community and, oh yes, Dragons! If you are a fan of the genre, you should give it a try.

Good

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
