Dark Orbit is a free-to-play massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from Bigpoint. It is set in a futuristic space setting where you are a young pilot that must help one of the three major companies in their war for total galaxy domination.

There are three playable factions in Dark Orbit, Mars Mining Operation, Earth Industries Corporation and Venus Resources Unlimited. Each one has its own strategy, advantages and disadvantages. Joining one of them will have you roaming the galaxy in search of mineable resources, attacking your opponents or defending your mining facilities, battling space pirates, all to help your company overpower its adversaries. You are strongly advised to enter an alliance; your allies will help you to better understand the game and aid you in your time of need.

Navigation in the vast space is easy; you just point and click and use your thrusters to go to the desired place. Battle revolves around maneuvering your ship in order to lock on your opponents and take them down with lasers, missiles or whatever weapon you have. Dark Orbit features a vast space world with detailed 2D graphics, many different spaceship options, nice battle effects and the appropriate epic themed soundtrack.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
