Battlerite is an upcoming free to play online 3D MOBA, by Stunlock Studios. The game is currently in BETA format, expecting to be released within 2016. At the time of this review, early access is already scheduled for the 20th of September.

The Gameplay is centered around fighting in an online gladiator-style circle arena and the players match their pure skills without receiving any boost from items, gems or gear. The result is impressive as the fights are superfast-paced and the atmosphere becomes highly competitive.

Players can select their characters from an extended pool of heroes with varied playstyles, based on their preferences and engage into pure PVP brawling action with their friends or other players online into 2×2 or 3×3 matches. Play as Ashka the fire spell caster, Croak, the mysterious assassin, Jade, the lethal sniper, Oldur, the time manipulator and Shifu, the martial artist with the lethal spear, amongst others.

For those looking out to watch and learn by other players, a spectator mode is also available in case you prefer to watch the online fights rather than participate.Graphics are very well presented with great animations, vibrant colors and effects and surely add up to the highly entertaining values of the title. Battlerite is most certainly a greatly anticipated game.
