Digital Experience Studios are the developers and publishers of Alliance Warfare, the free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy (MMORTS) game you can enjoy from your browser. The Ancients have abandoned the world of humans and decided to split it into four separate continents. War has broken out, forever…

In Alliance Warfare you start with a small village and must upgrade it into a thriving city. The game implements an extensive and very helpful tutorial which will guide you through your early steps and teach you everything there is to know. There are four Kingdoms to choose from, each occupying a continent. To expand your settlement, you have to construct buildings to gather the necessary resources and to research new technologies. The tech system is extensive and offers many different options which in turn allow for different gameplay.

Once you have established a flourishing economy, you can raise an army to explore and conquer neighboring settlements. Battle requires careful planning, strategic thinking and correct unit placement. You can also build ships and raid another continent! Alliance forging is essential in this game; it’s a tough world out there and your allies will help you survive.

Alliance Warfare features simple 2D graphics with nicely detailed building and military unit models and the appropriate epic soundtrack. And while you play, you can listen to the game’s radio station! This is an old school MMORTS game that offers everything you would expect and a little more; it may look a little outdated but is pure fun.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
