Ace Online, also known as AirRivals, is a sci-fi MMO shooter developed by MasangSoft and published by Subagames. Succesfully combining roleplaying elements with first-person shooting, Ace Online is a dream come true for all StarFox lovers out there.

Customizing in Ace Online is its key MMO feature. You get to choose your starfighter, called Gear among 4 different classes: B Gear – that works as a bomber, the I Gear – the Hit and Runner, the A Gear – working as a tank, and finally the M Gear – the only gear able to heal. All Gear are customizable and can be equipped with awesome loadout and powered up by skill point spending.

Ace Online features a fast-paced, easy going gameplay when it comes to its PvE section. Its navigation is pretty easy, hitting enemies is a lot easier than someone would expect even though it sometimes might get a little dizzy at some points.

There are 40 different maps for you to fly your Gear around, which from a point on might get a little boring since grinding is a huge factor in this MMO shooter.

PvP in Ace Online plays a huge role to its popylarity. The game focuses on huge 100v100 starship fights where you have to use your skills masterfully in order to be able to survive. Rolls, 360s and evades play a huge role to this mode since veterans can easily spot and farm you in an instant.

Some might say that Ace Online is a pay-to-win title but if you dig a little deeper you will find veterans stating that they managed to reach end-game without ever having to spend money. What they are cursing about though is the fact that with the installment of past updates, being for long in this game doesn’t play a big part anymore since grinding and camping can get you too the same high level as them pretty soon.

Ace Online is a must-play for all sci-fi shooter lovers. When you get used to its fluid navigation system and its huge PvP battles its hard to get your hands off of it.
