August has arrived in RuneScape, so let’s see what is planned for you!

Staring from the end of the month, more specifically from August 31 to September 3, a Double XP Weekend is waiting for you! Start gathering those precious resources!

Prior to the Double XP Weekend, there will be an introduction of master skillcape perks for Invention, Dungeoneering and Slayer at level 120, plus perks for the Master Quest Cape! Additionally, there are going to be some fixes for perks including the ability to activate them directly from the Max Cape while worn and the ability to have two perks on expert capes of accomplishment.

August 13 will be the launch date for Dragonkin Lab! An Elite Dungeon full of dragons with boss battles against Astellarn, the first celestial dragon, a new three-headed black dragon, and a secret third boss await you and your team to test your skills! The dungeon is also available in story mode for those who want a less difficult fight.

Finally, the Winter Weekends that traditionally run over the Christmas period are brought forward to August! That’s right, three Summer Weekends are waiting for you, each dedicated to a different aspect of the game whether it is scrolls, combat or minigames!
