League of Legends Preseason Update: Forge Your Path

New Updates for this preseason, scheduled to be released on November 8, are announced and include many new elements. Combining runes and masteries into a single, streamlined system that you can use to adapt and customize your playstyle in champ select, every choice you make matters even more!

While you start customizing your playstyle and testing various builds, Riot Games has removed the level cap for you. This practically means that you will be able to level-up beyond level 30 to infinity! The IP Grind is also being replaced by a redesigned reward system that levels up with you. Each time you level-up, you will receive an unlocked chest containing champ shards, blue essence and special rewards like gemstones or rare emotes in case you hit special milestone levels.

Additionally, the new bluer essence, a merger of IP and blue essence, makes its appearance connecting the leveling and loot systems. It should be noted that everything in the store will cost the same as it did in the old, IP-based system and various rewards and surprises await players in the process of transitioning to this brand new element!
