Gotham City Impostors is a free-to-play First Person Shooter (FPS) title developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It features fast-paced shooting action in funny costumes in well-designed maps and is available on Steam.

Forget about super heroes with fancy outfits and gadgets; in Gotham City Impostors, your hero is dressed with whatever article of clothing you can find and of course doesn’t have any special powers. However, besides their primary weapon, heroes can use one special device that greatly improves their mobility. There is a good number of available gadgets; from grappling hooks, to gliding suits, these items will give you new and exciting ways to move in the game maps increasing your entertainment!

There is a tutorial and a series of single-player missions that will help you understand how the game is played and give you experience and costume points. The idea is to play the game, win matches and get enough points to upgrade your hero’s level and buy new weapons or some hilarious piece of clothing. Apart from your wardrobe, you can change your heroes’ body size and the pitch of their voice and come up with a truly unique and funny character!

There are only three game modes and five playable maps and one would argue that they are too few; right? Wrong. Map design is excellent and the various gadgets you may equip your hero with, give you almost endless ways to play the game; you can use your hook and get to a high spot where you can snipe your opponents, use a rocket skateboard and move with lightning speed across the map, or use a gliding suit and bomb your foes as you float through the air! Each match is a different experience and will require you to constantly move, cooperate with your teammates and adjust your strategy on the fly.

Gotham City Impostors is a very good game that offers a high level of entertainment with many funny moments; if it wasn’t for a number of unfortunate technical issues with frequent disconnections and many moments of poor matchmaking, it would certainly claim a spot amongst the top five representatives of the genres.

Great

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
