League of Legends: Champion Reveal – Ornn, the Fire Below the Mountain

Fans of League of Legends! It is time to meet Ornn! He is a demi-God whose favorite motto is “My place is at my forge. Everyone else’s place is out of my way”. He enjoys his solitude in the depths of a volcano where he forges items of unparalleled craftsmanship and beauty but is always ready to lend a helping hand when needed, especially now with the upcoming wars.

Ornn is a hero that prefers to take matters in his own hands; he doesn’t want to bargain with the Rift’s merchants so he makes his own gear. What is more, when he is out of combat, he can forge items on location without having to go back to his base, plus his allies have a higher gold cap than their adversaries in order to be able to build one of Ornn’s item upgrades!

Searing Charge is one of Ornn’s characteristic abilities; he charges and injures any enemy he finds in his way. What is more, if he hits a terrain obstacle, he destroys it, hurting and knocking back opponents in the process.

Alternatively, Ornn uses Volcanic Rapture to damage and slow down enemies; on spot, forms a magma pillar that acts like a small wall for a few seconds. Use Call of the Forge God and watch a huge fire elemental charging through your enemies to Ornn’s location, hurting those in its way; if you cast it again, Ornn charges towards the elemental, hits it and changes its direction. Already hurt opponents take magic damage and become Brittle.

Brittle is a state where enemies hit by immobilizing attacks suffer a portion of their own health as magic damage. Bellows Breath is another ability of Ornn that results in this effect, during which he shields himself, becomes unstoppable and belches flames.
