Guild Wars 2: Making a Splash – Changes to Underwater Combat and Rewards

The development team of Guild Wars 2 has made a number of changes to undrewater combat and today we are going to talk about them.

Until recently, underwater battles were slow in order to feel more realistic and functional; with the latest update all these will change. Your character will still be slower than when on dry land but it will be faster to kill your opponents since movement is going to be more effective and Underwater skills will have combat-flow parallels to on-land weapons. In this way, the transition from dry land to an underwater environment will be more fluid.

There are rumors of a dive master that will arrive in Lion’s Arch and who is going to be looking for brave Tyrians willing to follow him underwater in search for hidden riches! Do you think you have what it takes to become the best diver, discover unheard-of treasures and finally earn the Freebooter title?
