Star Trek Online: Introducing the Gamma Task Force Reputation!

The Gamma Task Force is a coalition of military and scientific forces from across the Galaxy with the sole purpose of facing and defeating the threats generated by the Gamma Quadrant. It is going to be a new “faction” introduced with the Victory is Life expansion which you can gain reputation with and it will feature new traits, new kit modules, space and ground equipment sets, as well as new ground armor and space visuals.

Gamma Marks will be used to increase your reputation with the Task Force and can be earned by participating in the “Swarm”, a brand-new queue, as well as fighting in the Gamma Quadrant Sector Battlezone. Completion of bonus objectives and good personal performance will get you extra Marks! Additionally, by joining the aforementioned events, you will also earn Germanium Carapace Fragments, a well-known metal which the Task Force’s scientists are eagerly seeking as they want to study its uses in living creatures. Hand these fragments to the Task Force and get richly rewarded or use them as currency to buy high quality gear or Reputation XP.

Rewards include the Gamma Team Synergies, a 4-piece Space Set, the Task Force Ordinances which is a 3-piece Weapon Set and the Concerted Armaments, a 3-piece Ground Set. Also, three new Kit Modules will be introduced, the Cloaked Mine Barrier Mk XII, the Coordinated Synergies Mk XII and the Modified Ketracel Hypospray Mk XII. Finally, 5 new Tiers of Reputation Traits will be introduced which giving passive bonuses or increased effectiveness!
