Update 3.0 Notes: Play Vainglory 5V5 on Sovereign’s Rise Now

Vainglory 5V5 has finally arrived and it epitomizes all that Super Evil Magacorp have had in mind and striven for for the last four years!

Vainglory 5V5 brings a host of new features! First of all, Sovereign’s Rise, a brand new 3-lane map where players will face Blackclaw and Ghostwing, two terrifying dragons, the pets of the Storm Queen! Capture them and take advantage of their game-changing abilities! What is more, the new map will feature a true line-of-sight Fog of War; you never know what lurks in the dark!

As you can see, Sovereign’s Rise is a huge place and every piece of it hides surprises, both good and nasty like the enemy Vain crystal which will defend itself with Halcyon Missiles and Rupture Cascades! What is more, Teleport Boots will help you travel to friendly locations on the map, upgradeable Scout Cams will give you vision of your surroundings and jungle monsters will reward you with Orbs of Power once killed!

Vainglory 5V5 promotes strategic thinking; you still have room to display your skills but with 3 lanes, 10 heroes and an expansive environment, careful planning and good understanding of your surroundings is required! Additionally, the in-game Vainglory Academy featuring community-created videos will be a helpful guide. Heroes are upgraded too; some of them are now faster, while others have become more durable or have their abilities revamped. Use them wisely in combination with the new and exciting features that the map brings and obliterate your opponents!

Finally, the game’s engine is fully optimized allowing for a smoother gaming experience, while Joris de Man (who just won the 2017 Game Music Award for Outstanding Artist – Western Composer) is responsible for the brand-new soundtrack with epic themes that change according to the situation! Also, don’t forget the ongoing Vainglory’s 2018 Red Lantern Event which will let you fight for the Infernal Dragons (Team Reza) or the Lucky Aces (Team Gwen) and unlock and unowned skin!
