Aion 5.3 Newest update coming

Aion: Echoes of Eternity’s newest update 5.3 is closing in and will be soon available from NCSoft. We are well aware that all fans of Aion are looking forward to receiving the update the soonest possible! Focus will be given to large-scale battles, so expect to roam the battlefields in new epic online modes and engage to majestic new battles.

More specifically, in the new Battleground Pandaemonium & Battleground Sanctum, where the Archdaevas must defeat the evading forces of Ereshkigal, you will experience enormous PVE instances supporting up to 384 online players, while in the new Arena of Tenacity, players from both sides will enter a hardcore tournament of single eliminations and exercise every possible effort to climb at the highest ranked spots.

A new special medal rank, Spinel Medals, will be available to acquire through various quests and instances. These medals can be used to get hold of Archdaeva Abyss equipment from the Hall of Fame. Additionally, various new elements will also be ready to spice up the experience like Estima, which is a new item that can be used to expand your pool of essence points; thus allowing you to further customize your build, or Atreian Bestiary, a special monster book which you can fill with a collection of monster portraits and unlock new rewards.
